Last modified on Wednesday, 01 March 2017 10:07

Music of the Sun with Magnet Man and Jens Malling at The Moonlight Showbar Benalmadena 21st April,

After he moved to Spain in 2010, he worked alongside various musicians playing different genres of music, including Country and Jazz. He also took part in some theatre productions, and performed on Spanish TV in Torremolinos. More recently he has dedicated his time to singing, performing and writing reggae. When performing he has been backed by a band he founded called Homegrown Reggae and as well as lead guitarist and lead singer, he wrote and composed the songs they perform.

Early 2017 JENS MALLING became a signed Solo Artist when accepting a Record Deal with MIE RECORDS, a side label of Magnetic Image Music Group from Barbados.

Jens' strong political views, and love of the simple things in life, are reflected in the songs that he has written for  his Debut Reggae album ' SIMPLE PLEASURES ' being released on the MIE Record Label.

The first two singles from the Album, now released to Radio and playing on Central FM daily, are “Simple Pleasures” and “You Have Given Love Your Name”. The radio launch of these two songs on Central FM is leading up to the official Jens Malling *Live Album Launch* at the  MUSIC OF THE SUN INTERNATIONAL CONCERT at the MOONLIGHT SHOWBAR, Sunset Beach Club, Benalmadena, Costa Del Sol, Spain on  Friday 21st April 2017.

JENS MALLING will be touring in Spain, Corfu, Ibiza, UK and other countries and MIE Records are flying him to Argentina to make a Music Video of the Spanish/Argentinean Version of one of his songs entitled “You Have Given Love Your Name - The Gaucho Sound Track”
