Classic Tracks. Weekends from 18.00 to 20.00 on Central FM. The best timeless classic tracks around!
Mike, from Willenhall in the West Midlands, has been presenting Radio programmes for as long as he can remember. At the age of just 15 he made his debut on a Free Radio Station UK Radio, based in the West Midlands, which is where he enjoyed 10 great years.Following on from this came the opportunity to head off to community radio where he presented the Drivetime show at Walsall based Bridge FM.This led to his break into Local Radio in Somerset in 2001, presenting a variety of shows including Late, Evening, Weekend and Breakfast Shows, for BCR FM & Quaywest FM, but more fondly remembered by listeners in the area as host of the Drivetime show for almost 5 years. "A nine year period in my life I’ll never forget." said Mike.....Hear Mike every weekend and enjoy CLASSIC TRACKS on Central FM. |

Dave Englefield has been in radio for more than 30 years. Starting off at hospital radio, Dave went on to be a founder member of BCRfm in Somerset as Programme Controller and, after merging with another station in Somerset, as Station Manager of Quaywest FM.
Dave was also the voice of the breakfast show from the launch in 2001-2002 and then again from 2003-2010, when he switched to the afternoon drive show on the station now known as Total Star. We are delighted to welcome someone of Dave's experience and radio charisma to Central FM.
The Vinyl Countdown is a retro-style show featuring classic charts from the 1960’s, 1970’s, 1980’s and occasionally the 1990’s. Plus each week a special guest on the show. Past guests have included Donny Osmond, Boyz II Men, Nik Kershaw and Alison Moyet to name but a few. |

Tony Wells has actually worked at Central FM before. He took a break for a few years to pursue other ventures and eventually decided to come back on-air.
His style of presenting has made him a favourite for many listeners who tune in every weekend, just to find out what the hell he's going to do next. A lovable character with a talent to keep his listeners entertained. |

Geoff Jameson recently joined Central FM after serving some time on other stations across the coast.
Born some years ago (he was very vague about this question !!!) Geoff is also a qualified Hair-dresser and still finds the time to perm a barnet or two in his salon in Torremolinos.
His taste in music is varied but he has been known to lean slightly towards 70's and 80's era's on more than one occassion which leads us to believe that he is actually older than the 23 years that he suggested to us... |
